Description

Happiness Estomini Shayo, is a registered nurse midwife. Her career journey started in 2014 at the Bio health centre working as a nurse midwife.

She initially worked as research assistants with Mama na Mtoto project, dealing with prevention of maternal death in the districts of Kwimba, Misungwe and Nyamagana.  She later had the opportunity to work a private hospital (Kamanga Medics) in Mwanza Region. She committed to improve the care of mothers and newborn babies in her region.

Since February 2018, she has join the NIHR Stillbirth project as research assistant in Tanzania.
