Professor Grace Omoni is an Associate Professor, School of Nursing Sciences, and University of Nairobi (UON) with key competencies in midwifery practice, operational research, documentation and resource mobilization.

She has recently initiated collaboration between AMREF and UON for an E-Learning programme upgrading RN to BScN. She has 34 years in teaching and clinical experience, Capacity Building and Research Work. Rose Dr. Rose Mjawa Laisser

Dr. Rose Laisser holds a Public Health Doctorate degree from Umea University Sweden. Rose is a Principal Tutor at Midwifery School Muhimbili in Tanzania and also heads the Tanzania Midwifery Association (TAMA). She has expertise in Qualitative Research Methodology and Health Promotion Practice from her studies at Lead Metropolitan University in the year 2000. Rose is currently in involved in research on Gender Based Violence in Zanzibar and Tanzania mainland. Her experience with LAMRN began from the year 2001 to date.

Angela is an Associate Professor in Reproductive Health at the Kamuzu College of Nursing in Malawi,   with over 25 years of teaching and clinical experience. She currently lectures Postgraduate students and supervises their theses.

As Dean of Postgraduate Studies and Research (2006 – January 2013), she took leadership in establishing the first Masters Degree Program at Kamuzu College of Nursing – Masters in Midwifery in 2008. During her tenure as Dean, the college established 5 Masters’ Degree Programs: Reproductive Health, Child Health, Community Health Nursing, Nursing and Midwifery Education. Read More
